The Flying Dutchman (2017)
A retelling of the classic Wagner opera. When a tuba player messes up her big solo, she begins to imagine that the ghost of the piece's composer - Richard Wagner - is haunting her. She must struggle to redeem herself while holding onto her sanity. Screened with live orchestral accompaniment at Jazz at Lincoln Center as part of the Philharmonia Orchestra of New York’s Symphonic Storyboard Competition.
