Girl Scouts USA “Cookie Worthy Moments”
“Cookie Worthy Moments” was a series of stop-motion animation videos that I co-directed for Girl Scouts USA. The series used thin mints and samoas to recreate pop culture moments. The aesthetic was DIY-inspired and evoked the playfulness of children playing with food and cookie boxes.
These videos were extremely popular, doubling the brand’s average social media view counts. Several were featured on third-party sites, one appeared on ESPN’s televised World Cup coverage, and the series was written up in an Adweek.com article on Girl Scouts’ digital campaigns.
“One Small Step for a Cookie” celebrated the 50th Anniversary of the Moon Landing. Featured on Space.com.
“Luis ‘Samoa’ Suárez Bites a Thin Mint” was a tribute to the 2014 World Cup and gently parodied Luis Suárez’s infamous on-field biting incident. It was appeared during ESPN’s televised World Cup coverage.
